Firstly, a little bit about how I approach my wedding photography …

In general, I favour a relaxed style of coverage, with the aim of telling the story of the wedding as the day unfolds. However, I also like to take a selection traditional, posed wedding shots, as these are often popular, particularly with older members of the family.

Generally, I begin taking photos during the bride’s preparations on the day, before proceeding to the civil or church ceremony. Following that, I take formal group shots outside the wedding or reception venue and then take the couple away for as short a time as possible for the formal bride and groom pictures. Finally, I attend the reception to photograph the events up to the first dance, although I can stay for as long as you wish me to cover the remaining festivities.
